SAM ABELL to lecture at The Griffin Museum, Saturday April 26th

In conjunction with his upcoming two-day workshop at the Griffin, SAM ABELL will give a public lecture “The Photographic Life” at 7 p.m.  This event is sponsored by Canon.  Griffin Museum members: $5.00, non-members $10.00 and full time students are FREE.  

Sam’s lectures are memorable, as are his workshops – don’t miss this talk, and call to inquire as to space available in the workshop.  From the Griffin website:

“PUBLISHING THE PHOTOGRAPHIC BOOK” 2-day workshop with National Geographic photographer, Sam Abell, Leah Bendavid-Val, writer, curator and Director of Photography Publishing at National Geographic Books, and graphic designer/photographer Mim Adkins. The workshop is geared to photographers who have a well-developed body of work, who wish to refine the work and move toward book production. The workshop is limited to 15 people and will take place at Northeastern. Early registration required; call to confirm availability.  Members $200 Nonmembers $250″
