Zwelethu MthethwaInner Views the artist’s first solo museum exhibition in New York will be on view at The Studio Museum in Harlem. Don’t miss the rare opportunity to hear Mthethwa, a key figure in the South African post-apartheid photography movement in multiple events surrounding the opening.

Zwelethu Mthethwa, the exhibition and the Aperture book, present Mthethwa’s powerful series of portraits portraying black South Africans as relentlessly dignified and defiant, even under the duress of social and economic hardship.
