Deadline March 31st: JGS Forward Thinking Museum Contests

From the Forward Thinking Museum Website:

“The Joy of Giving Something Inc. (JGS) is establishing two ongoing national quarterly photography and videography contests, one for professional and amateur photographers and one for students.

-Quarterly winners of all contests will see their winning entry in a presentation of the Forward Thinking Museum.

-Annual winners of all contests will receive a featured solo exhibition.

– All entries must include a brief artist statement and need to express a “Forward Thinking” frame of mind.

What is forward thinking you ask?

The mission of Forward Thinking Museum is to encourage photographic artists to join their talent to contribute to the future in positive ways. Instead of concentrating on the harsh realities of the present, forward thinking provides a path to introspection about the human condition and way to positively interact with the world as it changes. Forward thinking offers no manifesto, no doctrine for global improvement. Instead, by focusing on human resilience and creativity, we hope to genrate an optimistic outlook on the present and the future.”
