Deadline : October 20th for The Center for Fine Art Photography for “New Visions” with juror Michael Itkoff a Founding Editor of Daylight Magazine

Submissions due on line by midnight PST

From the Announcement:

Thinking outside the box, New Visions will feature work that will test the limits, expose new ideas, and engage the viewer with contemporary photography. Alternative process, digital and traditional photography

The exhibition is open to photographers world wide, both amateur and professional. The Center for Fine Art Photography invites photographers working in all mediums, styles and schools of thought to participate in its exhibitions. Experimental and mixed techniques are welcome.

Juror Michael Itkoff :
Michael Itkoff is a Founding Editor of Daylight Magazine , a print and online publication. Daylight has become one of the premier showcases for contemporary photography, by collaborating with established and emerging artists, scholars and journalists. Itkoff has been a reviewer for New York Photo Festival, En Foco, Critical Mass, ASMP and Santa Fe Center for Photography. He has been a recipient of the Howard Chapnick Grant for the Advancement of Photojournalism (2006), a Creative Artists Fellowship from the Pennsylvania Arts Council (2007), a Puffin Foundation Grant (2008) and recently published his monograph, /Street Portraits/ <http://www.michaelitkoff.com/streetportraits.php>, Charta Editions 2009.

Entry Fee : $35 for the first three images ($25 for members) and $10 for each image after that.
