Silver Eye Center for Photography invites photographers from across the globe to submit work to our Fellowship 2009 Competition. This year, our juror Andy Adams will select one photographer to receive a $3,500 award and a one-person exhibition in Silver Eye’s main gallery in 2010. Ten honorable mentions will be awarded. These photographers will be invited to submit one work to the Fellowship 2009 exhibition.  Must be a member to submit work.

Fellowship 2009 Competition

Silver Eye Center for Photography invites photographers to submit entries to our juried Fellowship competition and New Works Galleries in October 2009.  You must be a current member of Silver Eye in order to enter. Also selected from these entries are the New Works Gallery and New Works Gallery Online exhibitors.

Submission Guidelines

DEADLINE FOR ENTRIES

Entries must be postmarked or delivered on or before Saturday, October 17, 2009 and be complete upon submission.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Submissions are limited to ten images and must have been completed within the past three years. One cohesive, exhibition-ready body of work is highly recommended.

Submissions must be JPG files with a minimum 1000px wide image size. Assign a file name for each JPG that includes the checklist number and title of work. Label CD with your name and contact information. CDs will not be returned.

Entries must also include:

•  Printed checklist identifying name of artist, contact information, title of work and /or series, date of work and /or series, medium, print size and size and method of presentation of work (including final framed dimensions, if applicable).

•  Artist statement and short bio not to exceed one page.

Incorrectly formatted or corrupt files and incomplete applications will not be reviewed.
