The 7th Annual Joyce Elaine Grant Exhibition guidelines are available now; deadline for submission of applications on CD-Rom is NOVEMBER 6th. The first-place winner will be given a solo exhibition at the Texas Women’s University Gallery in Denton, Texas.
ABOUT THE EXHIBITION: Established in 2001 and organized by the graduate photography students at Texas Woman’s Univeristy and the Photographic Artists’ Coalition (a student-run photography organization), the annual Joyce Elaine Grant Photography Exhibition provides a national venue for the exhibition of artistic expression as seen through the eye of the camera.
Photographers from throughout the US are invited to submit entries; the winning exhibition will be on fiew from January 22 through February 15, 2008. Click here to download the application in PDF format.
JUROR: LISA HOSTETLER, curator of photographs at the Milwaukee Art Museum. She came to Milwaukee after four years in the Department of Photographs at The Metropolitan Museum of Art and several prior years at the Howard Greenberg Gallery in NYC.
