Feature Story on Ryan McGinley in Sunday’s NYT, and more in the Magazine
Philip Gefter wrote a fine piece on photographer Ryan McGinley in yesterday’s New York Times; click here to read his piece entitled “A Young Man With an Eye, and Friends Up A Tree.”
If you didn’t get yesterday’s Times, here’s another reason – and why you should get it every single Sunday – the photography in the Magazine is consistently extraordinary. Here’s the link, with an amazing cover shot by Horacio Salinas, as well as more work by him inside the issue. Make this magazine part of your weekly reading. Kathy Ryan, Kira Pollack and their colleagues in the photography department are presenting amazing images, week after week. Don’t miss it.
Later this month, Kathy Ryan will be receiving the Lifetime Achievement Award at the FOCUS Awards from the Griffin Museum. Bravo!
