THIS Thursday night, 6 pm at George Eastman House: ROGER BALLEN, speaking in conjunction with his exhibition “Roger Ballen: Photographs 1982 – 2009 (exhibition continues through June 6th, it will travel). From the GEH blog: ”South African artist Ballen is known for his thought-provoking photography and his particular attention to rich detail, photographing his human and animal subjects in complex, fictional scenes with symbolism.”
