New Orleans is the Place to Be this Weekend

Tomorrow, Saturday December 12th, at the end of the first day of the PhotoNola Reviews, the public is invited to come and see the work of the participating photographers at PhotoWalk which will be taking place from 4:30-6pm

Location: International House Hotel Conference Facility 220 Camp Street, 2nd Floor New Orleans, LA 70130

After the PhotoWalk, through out the city there will be several  Art Openings from 6-9pm

Also as part of the Gallery Walk, Artists Louviere + Vanessa will be  showing there new work Cinégraphs  at A Gallery for Fine Photography in New Orleans

About the work (from the announcement):

Louviere + Vanessa’s new body of work once again embraces, expands and challenges the history of photography and filmmaking.

The husband and wife art duo create work that furthers their explorations into highly crafted object based conceptual art.

By shooting their photographs with super 8mm film in 3,550 individual stills, the works become both a projected motion picture

and a still image made up of the deconstructed strips of film set into custom built light boxes.
