MVS To Speak at Brilliant Studio This Tuesday Evening, April 8th

I’m off to Philadelphia today, speaking to the students at Tyler School of Art hosted by Martha Madigan (be sure to check out the public art pieces on her website) and then on Tuesday evening giving a public lecture hosted by Brilliant Studio in Exton, Pennsylvania (near Philadelphia). Doors open for “wine, lite fare and tours of the studio” at 6 p.m.; my lecture will begin at 7:00. ASMP members are given a substantial discount on the fee Brilliant is charging ($30 ASMP members, $50 all others).
Complete details on the Brilliant Studio website’s homepage, from which you can download a PDF.

From there it’s on AIPAD in NYC on Wednesday, where I’m sure I’ll see many of you seeking inspiration from the masterworks and contemporary images, and information on the market for photography.

Art in Downtown LA: Brewery Studios Art Walk April 5 & 6, Downtown Art Walk Thursday April 10

I am just leaving the Palm Springs Photo Festival (which was great!), off to the airport and want to quickly remind those in the LA area about two opportunities to step out and see the work of artists at the Brewery Studios Art Walk.

And, next weekend is the Downtown Art Walk, a self-guided tour of museums, galleries and studios in the growing downtown LA arts district.

Check out the websites for these events for lists of participants, location and transportation details.
