Center for Creative Photography Artist’s Talk with Elliott Erwitt
Photographer Elliott Erwitt will discuss highlights from his 60-year career in a public lecture at the Center for Creative Photography at the University of Arizona (Tucson); the talk will begin at 5:30 p.m. on Friday, January 25th in the auditorium at the CCP.
Erwitt, a long time member of Magnum Photos, is well known for his black and white candid images of ironic and absurd situations within everyday settings. Click here to read a recent article on Erwitt in the Telegraph.
This lecture is co-sponsored by Etherton Gallery, 135 South Sixth Avenue in Tucson, which will open an exhibition of Erwitt’s photographs on Saturday, January 26th, along with the work of Alex Webb and Scott B. Davis.
