Photographer Fred McDarrah died this week, often refered to as the father of the Village Voice. This morning, Scott Simon, the host of NPR’s Weekend Edition Saturday, interviewed photographer Marc Asnin about his legacy, of which he spoke to the decades of photographers he inspired, mentored and taught how went on to try to make the world a better place.
