Arts Funding Month at the Foundation Center Offices: New York, Washington DC, Cleveland, Atlanta, San Francisco and

From the Arts Watch e-newsletter from the Foundation Center:

To coincide with National Arts and Humanities Month 2007, the Foundation Center is focusing on arts funding throughout October at its library/learning centers in New York, Atlanta, Cleveland, and San Francisco. This symbol on each library’s calendar signifies a program dedicated to arts funding. Among the noteworthy events planned are a panel on attracting celebrities to your cause in New York, an arts resource fair in Atlanta, a series of “Coffee and Conversations” with grantmakers in Cleveland, and a “Reality Grantmaking” program in San Francisco. In addition, Philanthropy News Digest will publish special arts-related features, including an interview with Ruby Lerner, the president of Creative Capital. So check PND and the calendar for the library nearest you for offerings throughout October.”

Visit the home page of the Foundation Center, click on Locations to find details of educational events in each of these cities during October and beyond.

If you are not based in one of these cities, scroll down and click on COOPERATING COLLECTIONS to find an affiliate organization in your home state. The resources are invaluable.
